Spring 2026 registration

Spring 2026 class registration begins Tuesday, November 11. Registration appointment times were posted for students in MyU on Monday, October 27. Students can find their appointment time by logging into MyU and selecting the "Academics" tab, then selecting the "Registration" sub-tab. Registration times and information on how to register for classes are available on One Stop.

If a student needs their appointment time adjusted because of a system error, contact One Stop Student Services. Include the student's internet ID, student ID, and name.

Graduation Planner will be retired January 2026

Graduation Planner will be retired on January 30, 2026. While the University plans to implement a new tool for students, there will be a period of time when no long-term course planning tool is available.

The retirement is due to multiple factors, but primarily because it will no longer function once the uAchieve Cloud project is completed (mid-February 2026). It will also not meet digital accessibility requirements by the April 2026 deadline.

There is no current timeline for the new long-term planning tool yet, but planning will begin once the uAchieve Cloud project is complete. There will be a gap between when Graduation Planner is retired and the new tool is launched. The intent is to make this period of time as short as possible.

Communication to students about this transition will be handled centrally, coordinated by each campus’ Registrar’s Office. A message has been added to Graduation Planner informing students of the retirement timeline and directing them to more information on their campus One Stop website. Additional communications to students will be available for reference on the uAchieve cloud project page. Colleges, departments, and advisors are welcome to supplement those communications for their students.

The September 25 town hall recording of this meeting is available to watch. More information (and future updates) is available on the uAchieve cloud project page.

ASR/OUE E-forms & Workflow Services: New help email

ASR E-forms & Workflow Services will be replacing our asrprojectsupport@umn.edu email with a new help email that opens a ticket with our team. The new email will be asr-eforms-help@umn.edu. Please update your documentation with our new email as needed. The old email will remain active until Jadu forms and documentation have been updated. Those using that address will receive an automated message informing them of the change and asking them to update their contact records.

Class Time Conflict Approval workflow moves to a new system

The system-wide Class Time Conflict Approval process has moved out of WorkflowGen and into Jadu as of Monday, October 27. The new solution follows the same routing and approval procedures, but also adds:

  • Additional communications (including copies of student submission confirmation and final decision emails to APLUS)
  • More flexibility in how course information is input
  • An updated interface with more customized information based on the campus of the student/classes
  • More detailed instruction

Any approval requests submitted in WorkflowGen prior to the switchover can and should be completed in WorkflowGen. The WorkflowGen platform will be retired in January 2026.

The University of Minnesota Selected for National LER Accelerator Cohort to Advance Digital Credentialing

The University of Minnesota (UMN) has been selected as part of the LER Accelerator’s inaugural cohort—an initiative of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) that boosts the adoption of Learning and Employment Records (LERs) in post-secondary education.

The University of Minnesota’s project was one of 25 projects selected. This project will develop an implementation plan for a system-wide Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR).

The LER Accelerator initiative aims to create a more transparent and equitable system for both learners and employers. Visit the LER initiative website for more information about the program.
