A: The Board of Regents Policy: Student Education Records governs our directory information and access to student records. The policy was updated in June 2021 to reflect Directory Information and Limited Directory Information and of note is the addition of email addresses as limited directory information:
3. Limited Directory Information. Limited directory information shall mean the student’s physical addresses, University email address, telephone numbers, and University ID photos.When directory information is limited, it is still available to be used for University business provided there is a business reason. However, this does not apply to third party, external University entities.
