With the launch of the new Graduate Degree Plan, many have asked if it is possible to save information entered in the form. You cannot save data typed into the form when using Adobe Reader. Print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records.
To save information entered into the fields, you must use Adobe Acrobat Pro. Reader can be downloaded for free online, while you have to purchase Acrobat Pro.
Any chance this can be changed? It is really a hassle for students who aren't sure what they are doing. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI agree - it would be so helpful to be able to save this form - especially since many programs have a program-specific form that students initially complete. So this is basically course list form number 2. Thanks for considering!
ReplyDeleteASR form standards require the use of PDF files. ASR is therefore not able to offer a Microsoft Word version (or any other editable version) of the Graduate Degree Plan. To save information entered into the form fields, you must use Adobe Acrobat Pro, which your program would need to purchase. You can also use Adobe Reader, which can be downloaded online. Unfortunately, you cannot save information entered into the form using Reader. Print your completed form if you would like a copy for your records. Thanks for the feedback!
