Updates to Student Data Update Add-on courses

Work is underway to update and refresh the Student Data Update Add-on training courses. Updated versions of two courses were released in November:

• Class Permissions
• Waitlists

Only new users who need to manage class permissions and/or waitlists, but who are not also CCS schedulers, are required to take these courses.

Q: Can I email a student their final exam or paper grade?

A: Yes, provided you are sending to the individual student’s UMN email account and no other students are copied on the message. If you are using Canvas, encourage students to look up grade information security in those systems. Students can obtain their overall course grade information in MyU.
